Dolphin fish bar is a very popular British take away in Acocks Green, Birmingham.
We have served the Great British tradition of fish and chips for more than 50 years, making us one of the longest standing fish and chip shops in Birmingham.
The shop has been owned and run by the same family since the 1960’s by its cofounder Mr and Mrs Panayiotou, now it’s owned by there grandchildren ensuring that the three generations of fish frying continue to serve the people of Acocks Green and beyond.
Our Fish and Potato Sourcing Policy
Our fish policy is to buy fresh Cod and Haddock both of which are caught from well managed sustainable sources. Our Haddock is all line caught. Our fish is sent daily to us from our suppliers in Grimsby. This ensures the best and freshest fish is always at hand and ready to cook.
We also use the best quality potatoes available from UK farmers (this includes Maris Pipers, Agrias and Ramos) and we cook these in premium vegetable oil which contains no hydrogenated fats. Our oil is filtered every day which guarantees the tastiest and the healthiest option for our customers.
